Hot drinks, friendly faces and a warm welcome guaranteed.

Community Outreach & Inclusion

We actively reach into the broader Praze-an-Beeble community to ensure that no family is left behind. This includes home visits for families who face barriers to attending our sessions, referrals to local support services, collaboration with Crowan Primary School on transition planning, and partnership working with health visitors, social workers and the local children's centre network in Camborne.

Who it's for
Families who may face barriers to attendance — including those experiencing financial hardship, social isolation, transport difficulty or additional support needs.
Schedule
Ongoing throughout the year. Outreach visits arranged at times convenient to individual families.
Funding
Supported by charitable grants and in-kind contributions from local organisations.

School Transition Support

The move from pre-school to Reception is one of the most significant transitions a young child will make. We work closely with Crowan Primary School and other local schools to make this transition as smooth and joyful as possible. This includes transition visits, sharing developmental records (with parent consent), a dedicated Summer Term programme focusing on school-readiness skills, and tailored one-to-one support for children with additional needs.

Who it's for
All children in their final pre-school year and their families, particularly those with additional needs who may benefit from more structured preparation.
Schedule
Integrated throughout the Summer Term (April–July), with formal transition meetings in May and June.
Funding
Included as part of our standard nursery provision.

Community Development

Volunteer & Fundraising Programme

As an entirely volunteer-led charity, we depend on the goodwill and hard work of our community. Our volunteer programme offers flexible roles to suit all circumstances — from a few hours of administrative support to hands-on session assistance. We also organise an annual programme of community fundraising events, from cake sales to sponsored walks, which both raise essential funds and strengthen the bonds between Little Beebles and the people of Praze-an-Beeble.

Who it's for
Anyone aged 16+ who shares our values and wants to contribute to the life of their community. All volunteers are DBS-checked and receive a full induction.
Schedule
Flexible, depending on the role. Most volunteers commit 2–4 hours per week during term time.
Funding
Volunteer expenses reimbursed. Training provided at no cost.
